I met Suresh and his friends outside a Metro Station recently, he is from a small village near Bangalore. He was chilling with them after enjoying a metro ride. Suresh landed in Delhi recently in hope of finding some work to support his family back in the village. Every year, Delhi welcome millions of migrant workers from all over India, Nepal and Bangladesh. With over 21.7 lakh migrants came to Delhi in the last decade, making us the biggest host to migrants in North India. Everyone is welcomed with an open heart, after Dilli Dilwalon ki jo hai (Delhi is a city of people with big hearts) 🙂
